Ian, I am nourished by your contemplative writing! Thanks so much for sharing! I try to spend time each day in meditation to think about what I have to be grateful for, and at 73 this is an important exercise, that keeps me in the positive space to explore the day and what I can contribute to it.

Thanks Matt. Yep...me too...meditation that begins and ends with gratitude is my most important exercise. I used to add running...but walking now...and the good news about walking it I can do gratitude and walking at the same time. 🙂

As you said, for the people who think that spiritual work is an avoidance of what's wrong; sure, we do have to look outwards too. But if we don't look internally at the path we take, we never have an opportunity to consider if we're on the path that's right for us. Thanks for sharing Ian!

Such an important topic to address- I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets stuck in a jail cell of my own making! Thanks for pointing out how to get to other rooms. Is the bathroom the first stop…😀
