Namaste Ian 🙏 I love that you're writing a handbook ( it's about time 🤩), and contrary to your belief, I gave up gardening to read your post today. I could so easily have read on. I'll have to wait patiently for the next instalment 🥰

I love the photo you used- such faith, trust and such joyful surprise on everyone's faces. Qualities that abound for me on a Bodhisattva path. My trust is rewarded daily, often many times, by surprising happenings, guidance and help. Help to do what seems too hard, too heavy, too complex. Jesus said "Ask and you shall receive".

It's that faith we need to do as Victor Frankl says, we can't sit on the sidelines meditating, we have to get involved in the game. And like all good team players, we wait for those who are slower today. We lift up those who aren't tall enough to see the face of God and we stop and help those injured in the scrum of life; and we carry on playing, together ❤️☮️

I’m so glad you wrote this, Ian.

After years of serving customers and children, I fantasize on occasion about indulging my heart like a 20 year old - traveling, backpacking, meditation retreats.

Your inspiration calls me back to serve others, which, unexpectedly, has become my primary practice.

With any luck, I may be able to do both. 🍀

Thank you Ryan. I had my most important spiritual eye opening while doing service projects and working with clients. I reckon there can also be time for retreats and some backpacking...it is about the focus I think. PS: I love the Creator Retreat Cohort program you and Teri put together. Such a good idea!

Once again, grateful for you and your sharing this beautiful piece of wisdom. What you shared truly resonated with me. Reading along, I am reminded of the ups and downs, the moving forward and back along my faith journey. I also see that at this phase, I am somewhat made to understand (and sometimes wresting with) the awareness that "it is not about me" -- that we are each called to transition from loving awareness to loving action. As you said, "It is a return to the beginning; to service. At this beginning we have much to learn."

I also appreciate your reference to 1 Corinthians 13 "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." This gives me much hope as well, that the collective action we are called to during this time is already emerging, like seeds planted in the hearts of many, and are eager to sprout. And much hope that I am able to discern and practice how I can participate in the team sport :) I connected to "Exploration, Discovery, and Embodying" and I also thought of Seeking, Seeing, and Service :)

Like in the previous comment (beautiful reflection as well), I also love the picture you used -- so uplifting and light, and there's power and strength in togetherness. Thanks again, Ian.
