Thanks Ian for breaking down an awesome message. As a life long ‘right hander’ only the stillness of practice has recently given me a left hand I love and appreciate. It literally rebuilt my life.
The journey into the scary world of new right hand relationships is next. (Gulp)
Amen Darren. Yep the stillness can be challenging enough...the world of right hands, relationship and connection can be messy and discouraging....but it is where we need to take our left hand inner strength and our clearness committee supporters and look the challenges in the eyes. Thank you Darren.
Such a timely & wonderful post Ian. Just when I was telling myself off for subscribing to too many emails / subscribing to too many courses / people on Substack & Medium. (luckily I will note you as my first to definitely keep!!). I’m off to see David Whyte in Melbourne next week, whom I’ve only recently discovered too! Very excited. Thank you!
Appreciate the beauty of this article Ian, with the reminder of the 'power' within our hands, through which we can connect with the world and each other.
Namaste Ian 🥰thank you for your beautiful, encouraging post. I love the hands & have found the left hand so helpful talking with people about who stands with them. I’m honing mine & also working on my right hand. You’re blessed & we are blessed to have your guidance. Wishing you peace, love & joy 🙏☮️❤️.
I’m blessed that I have my left🙌I am willing to reach out and extend my Right in Knowing that we are the Sacred and a Whole as a collective 🙏🏻We need community for sure. To know that we are radically accepted without judgement. That’s the healing for me. Thank you for your posts 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you Lisa. I emphasised starting close in, because sometimes (I do) we get overwhelmed by the idea of creating community....boiling the ocean...if I can find 5 people then together we can find all the other fives. Blessings to you Lisa.
Wonderful post! Yes, I believe it is an inner and outside effort to make changes in the world for the better of mankind. I lack in having a group of like minded individuals for this common goal. But I am going to work on it, even it is is only on online community(s).
Thanks Barbara: Online is the amazing opportunity of our times, but requires careful discernment to find quality connections. Stating the obvious...sorry.... Thank you for reading Barbara.
